WHO ARE WE?
Project SSUD3
Being our third instalment in the Stop Single-Use Disposables (SSUD) series, our project aims to spread awareness of the environmental consequences resulted from single-use disposable waste and how we can reduce them through sustainable habits such as Bring-Your-Own (BYO) and 5Rs (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle)

WHAT WE DO
Concerns & Commitments
The impact on single-use disposables on Singapore is astutely acute. With the country's only landfill (Pulau Semakau) being predicted to reach full capacity by 2035, calling for a critical need to reduce our waste.

Project SSUD educates and raises awareness about the importance of protecting the environment by reducing the usage of single-use disposables within the SMU community. By incorporating and creating awareness of the 5Rs, we aim to encourage the Bring-Your-Own (BYO) habits in our day-to-day lives.
We will be hosting workshops, sharing sessions, field trips, competitions, eco-tradeins, awareness campaigns and execute the project's existing initiatives.
In the long run, through our efforts, we look forward to seeing the SMU community adopting positive BYO habits and curbing the reliance on single-use disposables, while being conscious and reflective of the impact of their use of single-use disposables.
